I’m sitting in my sewing room, surrounded by colorful spools of thread and fabric scraps. As I reach for a spool of thread, I realize I have nowhere to put it! Cue the frustration. I could use a nearby table, but then I have to constantly bend and reach for it. Not the most efficient way to sew, right?

But fear not, my friends, for I have found a solution that has changed my sewing game forever. Are you ready for it? Drumroll please…I use a toilet paper stand to hold my thread! Yes, you read that right. A toilet paper stand.

I know what you’re thinking: “That sounds crazy.” But trust me, it’s a game-changer. Not only does it keep my thread organized and easily accessible, but it also saves me from constantly reaching and straining my back.

Who would have thought that a simple household item could be repurposed in such a useful way? I certainly didn’t, but now I can’t imagine sewing without it. So next time you’re struggling to find a place for your thread, remember this little tip and thank me later.
